End Time

All the cults/ sects that tried to fix an end date, never used scriptures to justify any conclusion & certainly didn't use scriptures as a witness to confirm other scriptures in the word. Daniel's time line ties in many ways; history, astronomy & scripture to March 2017. The "day & hour" that no 1 knew was the end of heaven & earth NOT the date return of the Messiah.

King

The earthly name of the Heavenly High King of Heaven in the language of His earthly tongue He used, is YaHWeHshua,("Jeshua"), the Son of His Father; YaHWeH. There's no way around that historical fact. "Jesus" is the english translation of that name. There's nothing wrong with either, nor is there likely any real difference in which is used.

Holiday time

Hi Guys

Suzi and I are going camping this Holiday; We won’t be here on the 19’th & 26’th od December as well as the 2’nd of Jan.

Eben says there will be no services on Christmas and New Years.

Please send me the dates when each will be away or available so we can work out what we are able to offer the church these holidays.

For the days when no one is available we will arrange those dvd’s.

PS: Does anyone know who currently has any dvd’s we can use for worship?

Thanks

How many Christians does it take to change a light bulb?

A little silliness...

HOW MANY CHRISTIANS DOES IT TAKE TO CHANGE A LIGHT BULB?

Charismatic: Only one. Hands already in the air.

Pentecostals: Ten. One to change the bulb and nine to pray against the spirit of darkness.

Presbyterians: None. Lights will go off and on at predestined times.

Roman Catholic: None. Candles only.

Baptists: At least 15. One to change the light bulb and three committees to approve the change and decide who brings the potato salad.

Episcopalians: Three. One to call the electrician, one to mix the drinks and one to talk about how much better the old bulb was.

Unitarians: We choose not to make a statement either in favor of or against the need for a light bulb. However, if in your own journey you have found that light bulbs work for you, that is fine. You are invited to write a poem or compose a modern dance about your light bulb for the next Sunday service, in which we will explore a number of light bulb traditions including incandescent, fluorescent, three-way, long-life and tinted, all of which are equally valid paths to luminescence.

Methodists: Undetermined. Whether your light bulb is bright, dull, or completely out, you are loved. You can be a light bulb, turnip bulb or tulip bulb. A church-wide lighting service is planned for Sunday. Bring a bulb of your choice and a covered dish.

Nazarene: Six. One woman to replace the bulb while five men review the church lighting policy.

Lutherans: None. Lutherans don’t believe in change.

Amish: What’s a light bulb?

The next few items

Hi

I realised we skipped passed two items we had earmarked to do already, can we just check tonight to see which of these we’re going to do? I remember we tried “All Consuming Fire” once and we once previously said “Oh Lord Bless me” was a bit difficult? But let’s just conclude the usage of either of these, since they have such lovely lyrics! Remember the chords with these are not placed in the correct location, relative to the words…..

Fadd9 C

Oh Lord bless me and keep me

Gsus4 G Am

Cause Your face to shine on me

Fadd9 C

Lord be gracious, lift the light of Your countenance

Gsus4 G

Give me peace

Dm Am Gsus4 G Gsus4 G

For I live only to see Your face, so shine on me

Dm Am Gsus4 G Gsus4 G

For I live only to see Your face, so shine on me

Dm Am

Let the light of Your face shine down on my heart

Gsus4 G Gsus4 G

And let me feel it

This next song and You Won't Relent are kinda one long song. However, this song is pretty easy, with just three chords. It starts off with the same chords as You Won't Relent, (C#m, E, A, F#m) then goes A cappella for A minute, then kicks in with these chords;

Verse 1:

A E B A E B

All-consuming fire You're our heart's desire.

A E B A E B

Living flame of love come baptize us, come baptize us.

Verse 2:

A E B

Let us fall more in love with You.

Bridge:

A

We wanna know how high, how deep, how wide is

E B

Love Love Love.

It goes:

V1 x2 with You Won't Relent Chords

V1 a cappella

V1

V2 x4

V1 a cappella

Bridge x4

V1 x2

Enjoy,

Item TBA tonight

Hi

I'm not certain what item we're going to do this Sunday yet, since I see the ITEM's are a bit out of sync, will confirm at Practice 2night. Bring everything because I think we’ll do the items of the previous 2 weeks that we’ve missed. The song list didn’t take the holiday in to account (where we don’t do items, because there’s no Thursday practices)

Cheers
