Tambourine biblical search

I’m sure I’ve sent this to all, but for time immemorial for the blog; the Tambourine scripture search;

1 Samuel 10 : 5 "After that you shall come to the hill of God where the Philistine garrison is. And it will happen, when you have come there to the city, that you will meet a group of prophets coming down from the high place with a stringed instrument, a tambourine, a flute, and a harp before them; and they will be prophesying.

1 Samuel 18 : 6 Now it had happened as they were coming home, when David was returning from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women had come out of all the cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet King Saul, with tambourines, with joy, and with musical instruments.

2 Samuel 6 : 5 Then David and all the house of Israel played music before the LORD on all kinds of instruments of fir wood, on harps, on stringed instruments, on tambourines, on sistrums, and on cymbals.

1 Chronicles 13: 8 Then David and all Israel played music before God with all their might, with singing, on harps, on stringed instruments, on tambourines, on cymbals, and with trumpets.

Job 21: 12 They sing to the tambourine and harp, And rejoice to the sound of the flute.

Isaiah 5 : 11-12 Woe to those who rise early in the morning, That they may follow intoxicating drink; Who continue until night, till wine inflames them!  The harp and the strings, The tambourine and flute, And wine are in their feasts; But they do not regard the work of the LORD, Nor consider the operation of His hands.

Isaiah 24: 7-8 The new wine fails, the vine languishes, All the merry-hearted sigh.   The mirth of the tambourine ceases, The noise of the jubilant ends, The joy of the harp ceases.

Isaiah 30: 32 And in every place where the staff of punishment passes, Which the LORD lays on him, It will be with tambourines and harps; And in battles of brandishing He will fight with it.

Jeremiah 31: 4 Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel! You shall again be adorned with your tambourines, And shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice.

Deon, could we ask the slides guys to make a slide of ‘YOU WON’T RELENT’ anyway, we’ll use it definitely next week, but incase the team is feeling especially bullish this Sunday, perhaps they want to do it for the seminar.

Roster V4

Hi
I've just added two change being
Marko and Romualdo share a slot (third one) - you guys will have to coordinate with each other, who was last serving in that date slot to alternate with each other,
And the same goes for Jeanette and Anneli on the SEMINAR date slot - you gals will have to coordinate with each other, who was last serving in the SEMINAR date slot to alternate with each other.
I think we'll start using this as it is already, but I'm still awaiting any objections or suggestions and we'll commit to these dates collectively at our prayer night with Eben on Friday the 12'th of Feb.

PS: As I said before this is just a guide, not the law, you can swap out with an appropriate person if you need to and you're welcome to still join us on the days you're scheduled to be off if you want to.

Possible item; "How He loves" by Kim Walker

Below is the song Fransie played us, lets try it out and see how it goes --- like we said about the preferences, not everyone likes everything, but please communicate if you liked it and also after the practice if you like it or not, we can't play stuff that the majority of us don't like and we'll have no way of knowing without feedback.
Romualdo's going to play us a Kutless worship CD next and then we also need some new ideas for an Afrikaans item, if there's anything Afrikaans anyone is already listening to, let us know...
Then don't forget about our prayer evening on the 12'th of Feb - Eben will be joining us for a short while at the beginning of that...

C
He is jealous for me
Am7
Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree
G Fmaj7
Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy.
     C
When all of a sudden,
                      Am7
I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory,
      G
And I realize just how beautiful You are,
        Fmaj7
And how great Your affections are for me.

 Pre-Chorus:
C Am7
Oh, how he loves us so,
           G
Oh, how he loves us,
                Fmaj7
How he loves us so. C Am7 G Fmaj7 (2x)

 Verse 1
 Pre-Chorus
 Chorus:

       C
Yea he loves us,
          Am7
Oh how he loves us,
          G
Oh how he loves us,
          Fmaj7
Oh how he loves.

 Verse 2:
   C
So we are his portion and he is our prize,
Am7
Drawn to redemption by the grace in his eyes,
   G Fmaj7
If grace is an ocean we're all sinking.
   C
So heaven meets earth like a sloppy wet kiss,
       Am7
And my heart turns violently inside of my chest.
  G Fmaj7
I don't have time to maintain these regrets when I think about the way...

 Chorus 2: X3 C Am7 G Fmaj7 till end on C
